On 22 March 2024, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired an inter-ministerial meeting with the participation from His Excellency KEO Rottanak, Minister of Mines and Energy, and representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, as well as officials of the ministry. The exchanges were fruitful and focused on the preparation for the Summit of La Francophonie in 2026, to which Cambodia officially applied as a host country.
