Samdech HUN Sen Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia expresses condolences to the massive earthquake and tidal waves

On 27 December 2004, Samdech HUN Sen, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia sent messages to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, conveying profound condolences of the Royal Government and people of Cambodia to the governments, victims and the bereaved families from the massive earthquakes and tidal waves which struck these four countries last Sunday, causing great loss of lives, injuries and immense damages to properties.

On this very sad moment, the Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to provide a very modest contribution totaling US$ 40,000 (forty thousand US dollars) to alleviate the suffering of the victims and their families affected by last Sunday's natural disaster in the Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Kingdom of Thailand.
