On 26-27 April 2024, His Excellency OUK Sophorn, Under-Secretary of State of the MFA.IC, representing Her Excellency Khiev Sophany, Secretary of State in charge of Economic Diplomacy, led 25 officials of the MFA.IC who has completed the training course on "Economic Diplomacy" at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Cooperation (NIDIR) to visit the Sihanoukville Special Economy Zone (SSEZ), and Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, including listening to the presentation on “Business and Investment Opportunities in Preah Sihanouk Province” by Mr. LONG Dimanche, Deputy Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province. The study visit provided all participants to deeply understand the priority areas of cooperation and investment opportunities in Cambodia, especially in Preah Sihanouk Province, and also to implement the works of economic diplomacy active and efficient manner in line with the economic diplomacy strategy of the MFA.IC.
