The First Cambodia-UK Dialogue on Human Rights under the theme “The Impact of Covid-19 on Children”, led by H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary of State, was held on November 24, 2021 at 03:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The meeting was joined by the following Representatives from relevant Cambodian Ministries/entities: 

 H.E. Mr. Chin Malin, Vice President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Justice, Dr. Mok Sarom, Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, and Mr. Choub Narat, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training. 

The side from the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland  was represented by Her Excellency Ms. Tina Redshaw,  Ambassador, and Mr. Marc Thayre, Deputy Head of Mission.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect conducive to further dialogue and cooperation for the mutual benefit of our two countries and Peoples.
