On the morning of 02 July 2022, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Special Envoy (SE) of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar, accompanied by H.E. Ekkaphab PHANTHAVONG, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), had a meeting with representatives of seven political parties in Myanmar. 

Both sides extensively deliberated on several key issues, including (1) the developments of political and humanitarian situation on the ground in each state and region where these parties cover, (2) the progress of on-going work and the contribution of the seven political parties in the process of National Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), (3) means to ease the situation in Myanmar and to advance peace process and (4) the role of Special Envoy in contributing to resolving crisis in Myanmar in accordance with the Five-Point Consensus (5PC).
