In the afternoon of 16 May 2023, H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State met with H.E. Dr. Tibor BALOGHDI, Ambassador of Hungary to Cambodia at the Ministry. H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya highlighted the Cambodian economic situation and development as well as the Cambodian new investment law which aims to increase the country’s competitiveness for foreign investors. H.E. Dr. Tibor BALOGHDI expressed his appreciation to the Royal Government of Cambodia for the remarkable development of the country and the successful organizing of the SEA Games. Both sides have also discussed fruitfully bilateral cooperation, particularly the possibility to hold the 2nd session of Bilateral Consultations between the two foreign ministries and the 2nd Meeting of the Joint Economic Committee in the near future.
