On 24 May 2024, His Excellency PRAK Nguon Hong, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a call by Her Excellency Caroline Linke, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia, at the Ministry.

During the cordial meeting, the two sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields, including security and defense, as well as discussed ways to boost trade, investment, and tourism cooperation through the recently signed Air Services Agreement between the two countries.

In addition, both sides reiterated their commitments to further enhancing bilateral ties and extending support in the international arena, and they also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
