On the afternoon of 13 November 2025, Her Excellency EAT Sophea, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC), briefed members of the Diplomatic Corps and international organizations on the latest developments regarding Cambodia–Thailand border situation, in particular the landmine explosion on 10 November 2025 and the unprovoked shooting by Thai forces on Cambodian civilians two days later, in Prey Chan village, Banteay Meanchey province.
