On the morning of 20 November 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with the Honorable Christopher Skeete, Minister of International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec on the margins of the 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, held from 19-20 November 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda. 
On the occasion, both sides discussed the strengthening of the cooperation between Cambodia and Quebec under the Francophonie Framework, particularly Cambodia, being a host of the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026 in Cambodia. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister anticipate to see Quebec's active role and support to ensure the successful preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit.
