Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, lead a high delegation to attend the “11th ASEM Summit ”


Samdech  Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia,  will lead a high delegation to attend the “11th ASEM Summit ”  to be held from 15 to 16 July 2016, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, at the invitation of His Excellency Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia.

           The delegation will include His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Senior Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

\r\n

                Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will address the Plenary Session of the ASEM Summit on the topic “Soft Connectivity ”.

\r\n

           Under the theme “20 years of ASEM: Partnership for the Future through Connectivity”, the 11th ASEM Summit is expected to discuss many important issues, namely: assessment of ASEM’s past 20 years’ experience, building hard and soft connectivity between Asia and Europe, future generation of ASEM, climate change, sustainable development and multilateral trading system, disaster risk reduction and management, energy security, food security, water management, regional and international issues.

\r\n

          The Summit is expected to adopt two major outcomes documents namely: the Ulaanbaatar Declaration and the Chair’s Statement.

\r\n

          On the sidelines of the ASEM Summit, Samdech  Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will have bilateral meetings with His Excellency Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Shinzōo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, and Her Excellency Park Geun-hye, President of the Republic of Korea.
