On the morning of 28 July 2025, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led the Ministry’s delegation to pay tribute to the late Lt. Gen. DUONG Somneang, Commander of the 7th Intervention Brigade, under the 3rd Intervention Division of the Royal Cambodian Army, who sacrificed his life on the battlefield in defense of Cambodia’s territory in Preah Vihear Province on 26 July 2025.
