On 22 October 2019, H.E. KE Sovann, Representative and Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Nations in New York, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Zhang Jun​, newly-appointed Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations. Both sides have discussed and committed to strengthening good cooperation and supporting each other on issues of mutual interests under the framework of the United Nations.
