On 31 January 2017, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a signing ceremony will be held between H.E. Senior Minister, Prak Sokhonn and H.E. Kim Weon Jin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia.
On 31 January 2017, at 10:00 am, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a signing ceremony will be held between His Excellency Prak Sokhonn, Senior Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Kim Weon Jin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the two documents as follows:
I- Framework Arrangement concerning Loans from the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) for the period 2016-2018 with the amount of USD 350,000,000 (350 million US dollars) to be utilized to finance the priority projects relating to the fields of infrastructure, irrigation, health, rural road and sewage system; and
II- Arrangement concerning a Loan from EDCF for Upgrading of National Road No.48 Project with the amount of USD 67,434,000 (67 millions 434 thousands US dollars).
It is worth noted that the continued support from the Republic of Korea has well responded to the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia in improving socio-economic development as well as has contributed to maintain steady economic growth.
