Courtesy Call by 12 Cambodian Students


As the representative of His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on 25 March 2024, Her Excellency TUOT Panha, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by 12 Cambodian students who passed the Japan's  Scholarship  (MEXT 2024) to study in Japan for the 2024-2026 academic year at various universities in Japan in fields of engineering, education, economics, health and science.

Her Excellency Secretary of State congratulated and commended all scholarship recipients to study in Japan and highlighted the Royal Government's efforts in human resource development, including seeking scholarships from friendly countries, including Japan. She also gave recommendations to those students to study hard, build good relationships with Japanese students as well as other foreign students, to contribute to the promotion of Cambodia's rich cultural traditions.

The Secretary of State wished the students success in their studies and stay in Japan.  The students also thanked His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea and the leaders of the Ministry for their attention and for allowing the students to pay a courtesy call in a happy atmosphere.
