On 8 April 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, received Her Excellency Hou Yanqi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to ASEAN, at the Ministry. 

During the Meeting, His Excellency Secretary of State and Her Excellency Ambassador discussed the cooperation under the ASEAN-China Dialogue Partnership. Both sides emphasised potential areas of cooperation and ways forward to enhance the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
