On 11 April 2024, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, congratulated His Excellency Datuk Eldeen Husaini MOHD HASHIM, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Cambodia, for the completion of his successful diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom and his new portfolio as the Ambassador of Malaysia to the French Republic, during the latter’s farewell call at the Ministry. 

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation for His Excellency Ambassador’s dedication and active cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting close cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia since starting his ambassadorship in 2019, especially his significant contribution to the success of Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister HUN Manet’s recent official visit to Malaysia in February.  Witnessing the flourishing cooperation in wide-ranging areas, as well as the frequent exchanges of high-level visits, the two sides agreed to maintain such positive momentum. 

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister assured the Ambassador that his successor will receive a wholehearted support and cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
