In the capacity as the Country-Coordinator for ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, co-chaired the 20th ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials’ Meeting (ARSOM) with His Excellency Andrey Rudenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Russia’s SOM Leader, on 25-26 April 2024 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The meeting reviewed the practical cooperation encompassing the three ASEAN Community Pillars and discussed the future directions of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, particularly the prioritised areas under the Comprehensive Plan of Action to implement the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership 2021-2025.

The meeting also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
