On 24 May 2024, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by Mr. TANINAI Ichitomo, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, both sides noted with deep satisfaction the cordial ties between Cambodia and Japan bound by the seven-decade-long warm friendship and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They thoroughly touched upon cooperation in humanitarian assistance as well as prospects to continue rendering the essential aid to those in need.

Both sides also exchanged views on a broad range of development around the world.
