On the morning of 6 June 2025, His Excellency VONG Meng, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a meeting with His Excellency Ricardo Estanislao Morote Canales, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Kingdom of Cambodia, with residence in Kuala Lumpur.  

During the meeting, His Excellency VONG Meng and His Excellency Ricardo Estanislao Morote Canales exchanged views on ways to expand relations between Cambodia and Peru. They also discussed further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of culture, tourism, and agriculture.
