On the afternoon of 12 June 2025, at the Ministry, Her Excellency PHEN Savny, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Pavlin Todorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Kingdom of Cambodia​ with Residence in Hanoi,  after he had presented the Letters of Credence to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM Sihamoni, King of Cambodia. 

During the cordial meeting, His Excellency PHEN Savny expressed Cambodia’s appreciation for the long-standing friendship and fruitful cooperation between Cambodia and Bulgaria. Both sides discussed further deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in trade, tourism, culture and education. They also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation.
