On the morning of 5 September​ 2025, His Excellency Dr. Khy Sovanratana, Secretary of State and Representative of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met and congratulated 13 Cambodian students who have received scholarships to pursue doctoral and master’s degrees in the Czech Republic in the fields of engineering and science. Among them, three students will pursue a degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI). On that occasion, His Excellency the Secretary of State briefly highlighted the current situation of Cambodia as well as the diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Czech Republic. His Excellency the Secretary of State also encouraged all students to (1) strive to study well and acquire new knowledge and skills; (2) maintain good solidarity, (3)help promote Cambodia's investment potential, tourism, culture, and traditions;  and (4) after graduation, use their knowledge, skills, and experience to contribute to the country's greater development and achieve the goal of becoming a high-income country by 2050.
