On the morning of 5 September 2025, at the Ministry,  His Excellency Dr. KHY Sovanratana, Secretary of State, met with His Excellency Mr. Daouda BITIE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Burkina Faso to the Kingdom of Cambodia, with Residence in Beijing.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the possibility of fostering cooperation between the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) and the People's Republic of Burkina Faso’s Diplomatic Academies, particularly in strengthening the capacity of diplomats.  Both sides  exchanged views on promoting bilateral relations through other academic training activities.
