On the afternoon of 9 September 2025, His Excellency YEAP SAMNANG, Under-Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Periasamy Kumaran, Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs and India's ASEAN SOM Leader, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings in Port Dickson, Malaysia.

Both sides deliberated on further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation under ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations and the positive progress of bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and India, as well as the preparation for the official visit of His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, to the Kingdom of Cambodia, which will be held in October 2025.
