On the morning of 10 September 2024, at the Ministry, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Olivier RICHARD, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the continued progress of relations and cooperation between the two countries, in the areas of politics, security, economy, trade, tourism, education, culture and other fields. The two sides also discussed the preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit, to be held in 2026 in Cambodia.
