On 9 September 2025, His Excellency YEAP SAMNANG, Under-Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with Her Excellency Michelle Chan, Deputy Secretary, Australia's ASEAN, EAS and ARF Senior Official, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings in Port Dickson, Malaysia.

The Meeting discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation under ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
