On the evening of 24 September 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral Meeting with His Excellency Cho Hyun, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, on the margins of the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America.

The Deputy Prime Minister briefed on the latest updates on the border’s disputes with Thailand. He reiterated Cambodia's position to making every effort to de-escalate the tensions, rebuild trust and implement fully and sincerely the recent agreements towards normalization of Cambodia-Thailand bilateral relations.
