On the morning of 25 September 2025, His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had an informal meeting with His Excellency Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, in New York, United States of America.

The Deputy Prime Minister briefed on the latest updates on the border’s disputes with Thailand. He reiterated Cambodia's position to making every effort to de-escalate the tensions, rebuild trust and implement fully and sincerely the recent agreements towards normalization of Cambodia-Thailand bilateral relations.
