On the morning of 30 September 2025, Her Excellency EAT Sophea, Acting Minister, led a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to pay tribute to the late Upasika Buddhist Nupatham MEAK Phal, mother-in-law of His Excellency LAY Samkol, Secretary-General of the Senate, who passed away on 28 September 2025.
