On the afternoon of 1 October 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with his spouse, accompanied by the Ministry's leadership and officials, attended the cremation ceremony of the late Upasika Buddhist Nupatham MEAK Phal, mother-in-law of His Excellency LAY Samkol, Secretary-General of the Senate, who passed away on 28 September 2025.
