On 2 October 2025, at the Ministry, His Excellency KER Vicseth, Under-Secretary of State, met with His Excellency Yoon Chu Sok, Director-General of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, to strengthen consular cooperation and further enhance the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

His Excellency the Under-Secretary of State briefed on the latest updates regarding the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand. He reiterated Cambodia's position to resolve the border issue with Thailand by making every effort to de-escalate the tensions, fully implementing the ceasefire agreement  and rebuilding trust towards the normalization of Cambodia-Thailand bilateral relations.
