On 14 October 2025, His Excellency MEAS Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Cambodia, at the Ministry.
The meeting mainly discussed the procedural changes in the approval process for Quick Impacts Projects (QIPs) under Mekong-Ganga Cooperation, the revitalization of Asian Traditional Textiles Museum in Siem Reap province, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Mekong River Commission and the Government of India on Sustainable Development and Water Resources Management.
On that occasion, His Excellency the Secretary of State expressed his deep gratitude to the Government of the Republic of India for its continued support and assistance, particularly through Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) under the Mekong–Ganga Cooperation, to Cambodia and other Mekong countries.
