Assigned by His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State, attended the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), under the theme "Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Affluence", held from 13 to 16 October 2025 in Kampala, Republic of Uganda.

On that occasion, His Excellency the Secretary of State delivered a statement reaffirming Cambodia’s unwavering adherence to the fundamental principles of NAM, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.

Regarding the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict, His Excellency the Secretary of State reaffirmed that Cambodia has consistently stood for peaceful resolution of disputes, in full conformity with international laws. What we seek is a fair, just, impartial, and rule-based solution, which can ensure long-lasting peace for the two nations.
