On the morning of 20 October 2025, as part of the preparations for the 20th Summit of La Francophonie in 2026, the Secretariat and the 2nd Subcommittee, responsible for Protocol and Hospitality within the National Organizing Committee, held the opening ceremony for the liaison officers (L.O.) training session at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The event took place in the presence of H.E. SUN Sovanna, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, representing the Secretariat; H.E. EAT Seyla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment and Chair of the 2nd Subcommittee; and Mr. Im Kravong, representative of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in Cambodia, with the attendance of approximately 200 participants. The training began with a presentation on protocol and continued with additional modules designed to prepare future liaison officers for their roles during the Summit.
