On the afternoon of 25 October 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, engaged in the 37th ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

The Meeting welcomed Timor-Leste into the ASEAN Community and expressed confidence that its accession will strengthen ASEAN's inclusiveness, unity, and resilience in achieving the ASEAN Vision 2045.

In this context, Cambodia reaffirmed its commitment in ensuring that Timor-Leste can participate across ASEAN mechanisms and contribute meaningfully in ASEAN Community-building process.
