On 21 October 2025, His Excellency Dr. UN Kheang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended as a panelist at the conference on “Forging Ahead toward a community with Shared future: The ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”, organized by China Foreign Affairs University-CFAU in Shanghai,China. His Excellency the Secretary of State presented on the key developments leading to the 2021 ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

During his visit, His Excellency Dr. UN Kheang also met with Dr. Chen Dongxiao, President, and Prof. Yang Jiemian, former President of the Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS), to exchange views on regional and international issues and China’s role in advancing non-Western-centric international relations theory.
