On 24 October 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Meeting discussed ASEAN Community Building process including the admission of Timor-Leste into ASEAN in the coming days, ASEAN External Relations as well as the preparation for the upcoming 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits to be held on 26-28 October 2025.
