On the afternoon of 25 October 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held an informal discussion with Her Excellency Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, Foreign Minister of the Republic of the Philippines on the margins of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This informal discussion was held under a cordial and very pleasant atmosphere and they took chances to exchange warm wishes and greetings from their previous bilateral Meeting at the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and Related Meetings in July 2025.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister recalled the successful of the State Visit of His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos to Cambodia to further strengthen the relation and further enhancing close cooperation between Cambodia and the Philippines.
