On the afternoon of the same day, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral discussion with His Excellency Le Hoai Trung, Foreign Minister of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on the margins of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister delighted to meet His Excellency Le Hoai Trung in person after their Meeting via video conference in early September 2025.

Taking this opportunity, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister congratulated on his appointment as a Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister thanked Viet Nam for the hospitality extended to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of the Cambodian People’s Party during an Official Visit and attended the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of Viet Nam from 1 to 2 September 2025 in Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
