On the afternoon of 30 June 2022, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and the Special Envoy (SE) of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar, accompanied by His Excellency Ekkaphab PHANTHAVONG, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC). Both sides exchanged views on the implementation of the ASEAN’s Five-Point Consensus, and the current political and humanitarian situation on the ground in Myanmar.
