On the morning of 27 February 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency UENO Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Cambodia, signed the Exchange of Notes and related documents on the extension of the Japanese Government’s Grant Aid​ of JPY 404,000,000 (approximately USD 2.9 million) for the implementation of the Economic and Social Development Programme.
