On 29 April 2025, His Excellency Chhea Keo presented the Letter of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Canada to Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary May Simon, Governor General of Canada, during a ceremony held at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
During a courtesy call, Ambassador Chhea Keo conveyed the warmest greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, to the Governor General, and briefed her on recent developments in Cambodia and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening the long-standing friendship and growing cooperation between Cambodia and Canada.
