On the morning of 22 April 2025, His Excellency UK Sarun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Kingdom of Morocco, residing in Cairo, met with HE OMAR Kadiri, Director-General for Asia and Oceania Affairs, at the Ministry.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the long-standing and close relations between the two countries and committed to strengthening and expanding bilateral and multilateral relations and cooperation for the benefit of the people of both countries. 
In addition, His Excellency the Director-General pledged to provide scholarships to 20 Cambodian students per year at the higher education level.
