On the morning of 19 May 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Dr. Tibor BALOGHDI, Ambassador of Hungary to Cambodia with Residence in Hanoi. 

During the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and His Excellency the Ambassador highly valued the growing cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on ​the ways to deepen the bilateral ties, including  more exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries. Both sides also touched on the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Hungary in 2026.
