On 13-14 May 2025, His Excellency Mr. Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia’s SOM Leader for Mekong Cooperation, attended the Mekong-ROK Senior Officials’ Meeting and the Mekong-ROK Cooperation Forum in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The Mekong-ROK SOM Meeting, co-chaired by the Republic of Korea and Viet Nam, reviewed the progress of the implementation of the Mekong-ROK Plan of Action 2021-2025 and discussed direction for the Mekong-ROK Plan of Action 2026-2030. His Excellency the Secretary of State also attended the  Mekong-ROK Forum, hosted by the Mekong Institute (MI) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam. The Forum showcased the key results from the implementation of the Mekong-ROK Cooperation-funded projects, contributing to the sustainable development of the Mekong subregion.
