On the morning of 4 June 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of Russia to Cambodia, at the Ministry.

During their meeting, both sides exchanged views on ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations and broader cooperation under multilateral frameworks. The Russian side reaffirmed support for ASEAN Centrality in the region, while Cambodia welcomed Russia’s commitment to deepening engagement with ASEAN and exploring new areas of cooperation that would bring mutual benefits to the peoples of both sides.
