On the afternoon of 09 June 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a bilateral meeting with Her Excellency Michelle Chan, Deputy Secretary, Australia's ASEAN, EAS and ARF Senior Official, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings in Penang, Malaysia.

Both sides deliberated on mutually beneficial cooperation under ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
