On the afternoon of 9 June 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Periasamy Kumaran, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings in Penang, Malaysia. 

Both sides deliberated on mutually beneficial cooperation under ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
