On June 23, 2025, Her Excellency Rath Many,  Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Maldives, with residence in New Delhi, India, presented her Letter of Credence to His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President's office. 
Following the presentation of credentials, the President and Her Excellency Ambassador discussed avenues for further strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in tourism, trade and investment.
Diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Maldives were established on September 21, 1995.
