On the morning of 14 August 2025, His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral Meeting with His Excellency WANG Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, on the margins of the 10th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Anning City, Yunnan Province, China.  
 
On this occasion, the two foreign ministers committed to strengthening their collaboration with all countries in the Mekong region and building a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable future, working together through the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation framework. Both sides also explored ways to further deepen friendship relations between the two countries.
