On the afternoon of 8 October 2025, His Excellency PRAK Phalla, Secretary of State, received a courtesy call from Mr. Mohammed Al Qassim, Country Manager Cambodia of Emirates Airlines, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of State expressed his thanks to Emirates Airlines, which seeks to cooperate closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and emphasized the important role of Emirates in enhancing and expanding connectivity between Cambodia and the world, especially through its direct flight routes: Phnom Penh–Dubai (via Singapore) and Siem Reap–Dubai (via Bangkok). 

Emirates Airlines also expressed its commitment to support MFAIC and explore ways to increase the number of flights to Cambodia. Mr. Mohammed Al Qassim hopes that Emirates will continue to contribute to tourism sector in Cambodia, particularly by showcasing the Kingdom’s main tourist attractions through its platforms.
